Steven Martineau

Steven Martineau has worked in the electrical industry for twelve years. He began his career as a journeyman electrician installing commercial and industrial power applications and advancing to installing components in Utility Generation Plants with IBEW Local 490.

With a strong desire to transition from carbon-based generation plants to the renewable sector, he made the switch in 2013 to the residential solar market where he began as a residential installer in the Massachusetts market. Mr. Martineau grew his skill set, attaining his electrical licenses in both New Hampshire and Massachusetts and then his Master Electrician License in Massachusetts, which enabled him to advance from installation to the oversite of 5 crews installing over 100 systems a month in multiple states and offices.

Mr. Martineau then moved to California where he worked for a well-established commercial and residential installation and servicing company based in San Diego, eventually taking control over the firm’s Orange County Offices. During his time there, he gained his full NABCEP Installation Professional Certification and Project Management Certification from University of California, Irvine. He returned to Massachusetts to join Maximum Solar as a Lead Solar Technician, inspecting, maintaining, trouble shooting and repairing all facets of commercial and utility scale solar facilities.

In 2017, he was promoted to Operations Manager, overseeing all of Maximum Solar’s Technicians. Mr. Martineau continues to grow his expertise, getting certified by many of the major inverter manufacturers and mastering various data acquisition systems.
